About the job:

We are looking for an experienced copywriter to join our team who can knock out clear, clever copy. As a senior copywriter, you will be responsible for conceptualizing campaign ideas and developing highly-engaging copy for those campaigns. You will work across a variety of channels including email, push and in-product as well as paid digital, digital video and social. Do you have the passion and gusto? A proactive, positive attitude is an absolute must.

You will:

  • Concept campaign ideas that help grow businesses and raise brand awareness
  • Develop highly-engaging copy for campaigns, across a variety of channels including email, push and in-product as well as paid digital, digital video and social
  • Leverage clients’ tone of voice, brand book and style guidelines in unique ways, while ensuring creative work is on brief and on brand
  • Present creative work and generate excitement around your work and be the creative voice in the room
  • Write clear, confident, compelling copy for each stage of the customer journey
  • Write messaging variations specifically addressing different audience segments
  • Understand, apply and stay current on performance best practices using active, action-oriented copy with a clear call to action
  • Understand campaign results and how to optimize messaging based on performance
  • Have experience across digital advertising, social and content development 

  • Proofread and validate all content for accuracy

Requirements:

  • You have 5 to 8 years of writing, creative strategy, content strategy, or editorial role environment (preferably working on digital campaigns)
  • Experience collaborating with visual designers and content strategists
  • Superb writing skills and have a good sense of humor
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills

Preferred:

  • Agency experience
  • Both B2C and B2B experience
  • Experience with consumer finance
  • Degree in English, Journalism or Communications
  • Located in Los Angeles or New York
